Not Another anti-trump rant

Written way back in May 2022 before the second coming of the Orange Felon

This is long, so if you describe yourself as a conservative, you probably will not read it. If you were asleep for the last couple years, let me recap. There was a global pandemic which the then President pretended was the flu and a million people died. That global pandemic wreaked havoc on every country, breaking supply chains, killing jobs, and impacting every facet of life.

Late in 2020, that same corrupt, incompetent pervert of a President lost the election. Regardless of who won that election (Joe Biden won), the entire world would have gone through this inflation. With Covid still ravaging the entire world, and corporations gouging you and me, we would be in this position even if the nitwit Trump had won. Earlier this year, Russia invaded Ukraine, adding further chaos. Now, you’re caught up.

Wait, also, Trump incited a mob to attack the Capitol in order to illegally force his own VP to install him as President again, despite the fact that he lost the election.

They pretend that things would be different under Trump, and they’d be right in certain respects, but as far as inflation goes, they’d be dead wrong. Gas prices would still be high. Baby formula would still be in short supply. Ukraine would now be part of Russia, and racial unrest would have continued to rise. Women and minorities would be losing even more rights. The Trump family would still be stealing from taxpayers, and his cabinet would be full of more fascists and idiots.

Trump was the most corrupt, incompetent, and amoral President in modern American history. Unfortunately, he still has a cult that cannot face reality, and half the country believes the outright lies of a right-wing media machine that is injecting hate and poison directly into their eyes and ears every night. Reality is hard. I get it. I know this will be disregarded because that’s how cults work. The victims of the cult can’t deal with being forced to see reality. It’s easier to keep lapping up the propaganda and lies because the alternative is admitting they were duped and conned.

And it’s still happening.

People seem to have a mental block when it comes to inflation and free-market capitalism. The president doesn’t control gas prices. They have heard this over and over and over again. It is not made up. The low price of gas in 2020 was the result of the pandemic as well. It had nothing to do with the guy who lost the 2020 Presidential election despite what his cult members believe. Yet here they are blaming Joe Biden. Ask yourself, how did Joe Biden engineer a global surge in gas prices? Your answer, if you’re objective and honest is, he didn’t.

I know conservatives won’t read this entire post because it’s difficult for them to face the fact that they are uninformed (I’m being generous). That can be embarrassing and a blow to their ego since so much of their identity is wrapped up in being part of the cult. If they don’t like being called an idiot, tough shit. I’ve had it with being called a Kool-Aid drinker and ignorant by people who believe Democrats are sex-trafficking pedophiles who drink the blood of babies and that Donald Trump is a he-man genius. I can’t say for certain the exact source of the news they consume, because they are usually ashamed to admit it, but I am confident it’s Fox News or worse. These outfits prey on the weak-minded to spread lies. As far as me being the one with my head in the sand, don’t respond with a laugh emoji or memes about Biden being asleep. It makes you look foolish. You can take any one of the points I’m making and prove me wrong. Debate is welcome.

If you consume right-wing media, you will have heard that the murder of children in Newtown was a hoax. You will have heard that Antifa was involved in Trump's January 6th attempt to steal the election from Joe Biden. You will have heard that Barack Obama was born in Kenya. You will have heard that the Clintons have had over 50 people murdered. Why do you fall for this bullshit? Dr. Seuss has been banned. You can’t say Merry Christmas. Democrats want to abort babies after birth. It is all so mind-numbingly, dangerously, and obviously stupid, but you keep watching. And you have the nerve to believe liberals have a mental disorder. You know who told you that? The same people who told you all the lies I just listed for you. Your head isn’t in the sand; it’s inside your rectum.

Here's what the Left, who you describe as Kool-Aid drinkers and who you seem to find ignorant, is for:

• Equality and dignity for women, any and all minorities, immigrants, and the poor

• A sustainable environment around the world in order to feed and support the global population

• Affordable health care

• The right for women to determine when and if they want to get pregnant and raise a child

• Protection from and avoidance of global pandemics

• Fixing a for-profit and unjust justice system

• Exposing and eradicating racism and bigotry of all forms

• Providing quality education in order to stamp out ignorance

• Restoring pride in America as a global leader

• Establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity

Here’s what the Right is for:

• A country ruled by a White Male oligarchy and demonization of any and all minorities, immigrants, and the poor

• Depleting natural resources, unchecked pollution, and destroying the balance of nature

• Health care only for those who can afford it

• Forced birth and women in servitude

• Accepting that deadly viruses will kill millions and it’s no big deal

• Racism and bigotry of all forms

• Indoctrination and whitewashing mistakes of the past

• Turning America into a global embarrassment

• And most importantly tax Cuts for the rich

They are being controlled in a decades-long campaign by a coalition of the rich and powerful to divide people like us and make us fight each other, thereby allowing them to become more rich and powerful. I’m not the one who is siding with neo-Nazis, Klansmen, and religious zealots. They are your allies in the fight against the Left they hate, despite the fact that we have more in common than you’re willing to admit.

They say they would have done anything to get more time with their relative who passed away from Covid complications, but when they’re asked to wear a mask to minimize the spread, they say their ‘freedom’ is more important. They believe every conspiracy theory that comes down the pike and when it is proven false, they ignore it and grab the next one their favorite racist propaganda station provides. They do this willingly like good submissive cult members. They vote for certain politicians, despite the fact that, not only do they not work for their best interests, they actively and intentionally make life worse for virtually everyone. Not just minorities, the poor, the sick, the homeless, the immigrant seeking asylum. Suburban middle-class white people too. Politicians and the rich who fund them don’t give a single shit about the voting base, so why keep voting for garbage humans who want to roll back freedoms and rights? Do they really want start another civil war over the acknowledgment that racism exists? Or that a woman should decide when and if she wants to raise a child?

The first step to the truth is admitting that you’ve been had. And they have been had. Hugely.
